I changed out the license plate bulbs, Super Brite Led's #194-W-120 (less than $10 delivered), and got the polarity right the first time!

Drivetrain maintenance day! Changed out the front and rear diff fluid and transfer case fluid. At 53K miles I think I was lagging on that!

If you haven't done this yet, don't be scared of those front diff bolts. They need a solid hammer whack on the wrench to break loose.

My 6 year old son likes to help any time I'm under the car. But he was not prepared for the smell of gear oil! As soon as I started draining the rear diff he yells "Dad don't fart when I'm right next to you!" He decided to sit by the front of the car while I finished.

Easy little job today. Looks good. Need to get that blue oval blacked out.

Somewhat undecided about the red ST badges. Blacked out looks sharp, but so does the accent color. Maybe flat black ST against the gloss grill? Dunno...

The exploder hasn't had anything done in some time, but today it got a new ZenCarbon steering wheel.

The OEM wheel was falling apart.

Replaced broken drivers side seat cover with eBay one. Fitment was spot on and cost only about $32 shipped.

Went through some water a few months ago and within about 30 seconds every light came on my dash. Every failure possible, hill start assist, pre collision, abs, drive mode select, etc etc. So it was quite annoying to drive for a while but it is my only vehicle so I dealt with it until my dealership had a loaner available to me.

The code it threw was a bad speed sensor, which I did replace myself for $60 but it didn't fix the issue.

Took it to the dealership, ended up being a bad tone ring. Thankfully it was warrantied under the powertrain warranty.

While there we fixed a lot.........

Driver window not opening/closing properly. (Relearn fixed, didn't charge me)
Passenger side mid pipe cracked and rattling (been dealing with that since day 1) (~$530 part and labor)
Rear camera replacement (warrantied)
Rear diff bolt upgrade (warrantied)
Front Axle Disconnect Actuator was leaking (warrantied)
Coolant flush (~$200)
Cabin filter (~$85)

I saw the warranty bill for the FADA replacement that was $4700. I didn't see the other costs but holy smokes if you have a leak up front go get that done asap before your warranty runs out. That would have been an awful pill to swallow.

You paid a dealer to chage the cabin filter and you paid them $85 to do it.. WOW.

Did they replace just the seal or perform the TSB? I had the seal only replaced on mine, not sure what the cost would have been though.

I assumed it was going to be $25. I didn't ask for pricing. So yes, they got me. Oh well.

Ahh, the nooks and cranny's are a pain to clean but I do like the look. Did you just take fishing line or floss to get it? Did you heat them up first?
