    Ford Performance Tune

You are correct. You might want to consider reflashing to stock before bringing your ST in. Then reinstall after the service. But not necessary.

Need option for hard buttons to control scrolling through radio presets on 2025 Ford Explorer ST.

What happens when you press these buttons? That's how to scroll through presets on previous models.

    New From MA

Welcome and congratulations. I'm on the North Shore. There are a few STs in my neck of the woods.

Safety Recall 22S27 Rear Axle Bolt Fractures

Wow. That's horrible. Perhaps fortunately for me, my dealer never received the new bushing, so they have yet to perform the bolt recall. Maybe I'll sit this one out for a while longer. On a positive note, the new replacement rear camera has been flawless.

    Throttle Lag

I have experienced this as well. My theory is this has something to do with collision avoidance. If you accelerate quickly, then completely/significantly back off the pedal, particularly while turning, the throttle sometimes cuts out momentarily. And comes right back after a brief hesitation. I...

Safety Recall 22S27 Rear Axle Bolt Fractures

My ST is at the dealership as I type, getting both the new camera and bolt/bushing recalls completed. The service manager said the bolt job was estimated at 3 hours. I'll provide an update when I have the work order in hand.

Safety Recall 22S27 Rear Axle Bolt Fractures

Found this video today. A brief explanation of the newer S23S55 bolt recall.

I do not want to be the one to test.

I'm guilty as well. Just a warning message as mentioned above.

    Used ST's

I didn't know I needed massaging seats until I bought the ST. Now I don't think I will own another vehicle without them.

    Used ST's

I'll try to address some of your questions. Hopefully with some accuracy. My '21 has a 20 gallon tank. I think all the STs have 20. Massage seats were available on all STs until the COVID production issues, sometime in 2022. I have them in my 21. I believe all the 20s and some very early 21s...

    Ford Performance Tune

I concur with Lopez. No regrets whatsoever. I think it took me longer to adjust to the new throttle response than it took the tune to settle in. You'll need a lighter right foot in traditional driving situations. Which is not at all a complaint!

    Ford Performance Tune

I bought my FP tune from Lethal. I have nothing but good things to say about them.

    Ford Performance Tune

In order to download the ProCal software and activate the device, you (or someone) needs to create an account with Ford Performance Parts. It looks like having access to this account is really what you want/need. From there, you should be able to download software or updates, even to another...

    Ford Performance Tune

I suspect you can, but I haven't done it. When you connect the ProCal to your computer for the first time, it initiates the software download procedure from Ford using a unique voucher code. I would think the software would recognize both the device and the tunes stored on the ProCal. I suppose...

    Ford Performance Tune

Yes. You can see the FP tune on the ProCal tool, which should be kept with the vehicle. However, if the ProCal software resides on the installer's computer (rather than your own) I don't know that you would be able to check for firmware updates, etc.
