Both, Family Dollar and Dollar General have these batteries. These stores seem to be everywhere now. Make sure that you have changed the battery in both key fobs. It may be reading the low battery on the other fob.

If you are going to add the rails, go for the ones from a 2020, which are much nicer in my opinion. After 2020 Ford just went with the rails from the base model Explorer as they are black also.

When you remote start the ST, be sure that you have the key fob on you when you go to the vehicle or even better, just place the key fob in its holder inside the center console and keep it there.

With the advice of others on here and YouTube, I was able to replace mine with a few walks away and piecing together what others had mentioned. I went with the best that Napa has and feel that their design is better than OEM.

I would try to look for a 2020 ST with decent mileage and skip fooling with your totaled vehicle.

Yes, it has the Jet Package. Looks like the previous owner had the roof wrapped black. As far as I can tell, you could only get the Black Label edition with the black roof from the factory. Original window sticker shows over $18K in options...crazy.

This sounds similar to an issue I had with mine early on. It was the throttle body. On mine though the engine light did come on and there were some codes.

From what I have read, the keypad has returned to being installed at the factory since sometime in November 2024.

This may be a little extreme, but could there be a trap door made in the floor pan to access the trans dipstick? Back in my Army days we had a truck that was manufactured with this type of door in order to easily check the fluid level.
