2025 Ford Explorer ST engine dies as soon as I put in gear

I disabled that reverse auto brake. It occurred once when I was backing into an empty street from my driveway. Said that will be the only time that shits happens and shut it off. I do not miss it.

What Wheels are these on the lethal site?

These wheels were originally one of the finalist on my ST wheel list. I think they look better on the white ST vs the red ST that I have. Finally found out from the ST's owner what the actual wheels and tires are on this white ST. I am listing it in case others would like to know also. Wheels...

    UNBROKEN’s Iconic Silver ST build

I've got an ID Speed brace yet to install on my 2023 ST. Did you notice any rear brace related road noise (like Steeda) after the ID Speed brace install?

    Rattles

Had a constant buzzing vibration/rattle coming from the drivers side foot area of my 2020. It turned out to be the plastic hood release latch vibrating on the adjacent plastic dash.

    Sun Roof Fabric Issue

I keep my sunroof closed all the time. Only open the inner shade half way if it is cloudy and I want more light. Knowing the flip up fabric screen wind deflector can tear off at high speed I figured the roller shade may not last very long either if driving around with the sunroof open.

    Front end clunk/rattle

There is a service bulletin about defective front struts on certain 2023 Explorers. I replaced my front strut mounts and struts, rear shocks and all end links, front and back, as well as all fasteners at 2000 miles on my own dime and had them installed by the dealer as part of installing H&R...

Steeda vs H&R vs Eibach decision

My 2023 ST has a rake with H&R's. My 2020 ST was pretty level with H&R's. Same wheels and tire specs on each. The zero rake kind of bugged me a bit on the 2020 so I guess I put that out in the universe and got new H&R's that were a bit taller in the rear. I think it has settled a bit in the rear...

    Rude Awakening On Rims Today!

These are pretty nice also. I believe they are ASANTI® - ABL-12 most likely 10.5x22 with +30ish offset.

    Vibration/knocking noise under passenger seat

Search this site. Folks replace those shabby connectors with new steel washers and nuts.

Tire Balance Problems with Pirelli Scorpion's (275/45/21)

Yes you do not want the sound deadening foam in your tires. It comes loose and the balance goes out the window. You can get this Pirelli Tire on Tire Rack without the foam. You do not want the ones they sell with the PNCS designation (PNCS is stamped on the sidewall).

22 Iconic Silver in the driveway!

Sorry to see you go. I'd be interested in the Waido front spoiler if it's not all beat up.

    Trivia Question

Anyone know the lowest Explorer ST 1/4 mile elapsed time run using Borla exhaust (stock or aftermarket downpipes)?
