    Front end thunk

Sway bar end links making noise is very common. I've had front sway bar end link issues on every Ford I've owned in the last 20 years. So replacing them won't hurt. But if the noise is happening when not moving and while turning, it's obviously the strut hats. They are the only part of the...

COBB Accessport - Goosetuned Tuning thread

Looks good. Loving your tune on mine! Wish I was closer to an E85 pump to really take advantage of this motor; our whack CA 91 octane isn't letting this motor live to its full potential! Oh well, still more than enough to embarrass the 392 Snack Packs that seem to be littering my area lately.

    Stock vs Big Brake Kit

I'm sure it was a typo. It's Caliperfexion. I knew exactly what he was talking about. Unless you want to add a weave to your brake and make them look fAbUlOuS! Ford uses a 1-time use E-head bolt for the GT350/GT500 calipers. I knew I didn't want to deal with that so got a reusable bolt...

Please give me parts or disadvantages that I don't recommend

Trans Mount Insert: I haven't heard any reviews of the Steeda one, but Travis at HSF had good things to say about the Fenfab one (same idea, not sure on durometer differences) Rear Pinion Diff Bushing: I'd skip these. There are some horror stories about these. The diff can have some movement...

    Stock vs Big Brake Kit

I have MMR reusable socket-head cap screws instead of the factory Ford GT350 caliper bolts. I helped put a the OPRacing caliper studs on my buddy's GT350. Might got hat route in the near future!

    Stock vs Big Brake Kit

The GT350 and GT500 calipers are 1-piece with a solid bridge so those have to come off to change the pads. It takes me 30 minutes to swap the front pads. It's not hard.

Down sizing from stock 21" wheel to 20"

Again, that is down to the spoke design. My 20x9.5, +33 wheels clear just fine. But my RTR wheels were designed with big brake caliper clearance in mind.

Down sizing from stock 21" wheel to 20"

I have RTR Tech 5 wheels. These are technically S550/S650 Mustang wheels with caliper clearance in mind for the design. Spokes are quite convex. Keep in mind GT350 calipers are very wide, wider than any of the other BBK's for these Explorers IIRC. So you'll definitely have to check the spoke...

Down sizing from stock 21" wheel to 20"

Very true. I was giving a simplistic answer that 20" diameter can fit some pretty larger diameter brakes. When going with fat multi-piston calipers you have to do your research to make sure they fit with your spoke design.

Down sizing from stock 21" wheel to 20"

You're fine with the Street Pack brakes. Even Police Interceptor rims fit over those. I have aftermarket 20s and plenty of clearance around my GT350 brakes.

    Steel City Mods?

I have Steeda Adjustable Rear Toe Links, Steeda Vertical Link inserts (figured try the cheap easy upgrade first, vs the available full-billet links, as I'm only running 91 so limited power), JXB Diff Bushing Inserts, Steeda Subframe Bushing Inserts. 2020 so 2-bolt, and no need for a diff brace.

    Steel City Mods?

Exactly what 2020FordRaptor said. The way the IDSpeed brace always the diff to still move, like it would with a 2-bolt, is the best setup on the market.

    Steel City Mods?

Get a CVFab intercooler, AFE Rear swap bar, ID.Speed rear diff brace, JXB Diff Bushing Inserts, upgraded diff bolt, and Steeda or Fenfab Subframe Bushing inserts. Do these mods from these brands, then see where you want to go from there. The intercooler is a bit of work so you can do that any...

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Installed the Turbosmart Dual Port BOV. Compared to the same part on my 23 Raptor, it's much different. On the truck, it's snorting and sneezing all the time no matter how gentle I drive. On this Explorer I have to aggressively try to get it to make noise. Also replaced my front brake pads...

Does this mean Cobb's transbrake is available to use?
