Question to all?
Has anyone noticed a rattle noise from engine on start? Engine starts, high idle then after a few seconds the rattle/knocking occurs for a moment? I’ve heard about “cam-phaser” No idea what that is but is this maybe the situation? Or should I just stop whining and let wife love her vehicle as she does. Happy wife, happy life.

Have you checked the oil?

Curious if the flex pipe issues from the previous cycle were finally fixed as well. That makes an annoying rattling sound as well during cold start up's.

Got our 25 Friday
The 4th Explorer ST we have owned
Vastly improved throttle response & trans shifting characteristics
Have recalibrated all of our previous models
Am a retired automotive engineer & I think "TUNING" sounds hokey
May not need to with the 25
Much better than our 22 before I recalibrated the engine & trans
Annoyed with the fact you do not get a printed owner's manual
Like the center stack changes

Havent seen a hard copy manual since my 21 F150 Powerboost.
Im old school in some aspects and while I ‘ know’ us men don’t like reading manuals, I don’t mind sitting in my recliner to see what I thought I knew.
You can dl a pdf format and at least I can read it at my desk. I’ll be damned if I had to print out all those pages at my expense for ink and paper. In reality, once you go through it, you’d prob never look at all.
The online in vehicle is not even accurate. All of them still tell you to set auto ota times and there isn’t a setting for it. It’s even on or off. I’m sure Ford did a lot of cut-n-paste.
So as it stands, I’ll print out pages that I may need but thats it.

Picked up my 25 ST on Sept 9th and 2 weeks later took it on a 14 day 3200 mile trip. Very impressed with the handling, power, noise level and gas mileage (avg'd 22.6-23.6 mag at 70-80 mph speeds). Quality and fit look good and no rattles so far!

Congrats on the New 25 ST you will love it. I have a 25 ST now, previously had a 22 ST bought new and a 23 ST bought new, 22 was totaled with 1200 Miles +-, 23 ST had tranny problems from a month after buying until I traded with 16,000 miles, ordered my 25 in Feb 24, delivered the end of August. I do love it so far tranny way better, smoother etc., love the pickup and go in normal mode, got 258 miles to go before I will put in Sport mode and drive it like I stole it (lol), with a break in of 1,000 miles. First is HR springs and roof rail removal, can't wait. Only problem I found which is apparent with the 25s Key fob, is no visual feedback, either green or red when you remote start, and no light flash when using the fob. And yes, I know the app does it, not the point my 22 and 23 did it and they are the same fobs. Also just got to get used to this new infotainment system, whew. I haven't even thought about the blue cruise yet (lol). Enjoy the ride. Btw there is a 25 + Explorer ST blog, FYI.
Congratulations on the new ST.
