Hey guys, hope you’re doing well!

I had a question about these lugnuts. I had bought them about a year and I planned to spray paint my rims but now I decided to powder coat my rims black and paint my calipers. Anyways, I was wondering if these lugnuts would fit because I am going for an all black look?

Welcome to the forum. They will fit but they are going to rust and swell in no time. I had the same kind on my Ranger and within 6 months that's what happened to them. Get youself a set of McGard lug nuts. They are more expensive but they will hold up.

Thank you for your feedback! Would it be the same M14 x 1.5?

Those are not the same. They are just the black chrome and that’s why they are cheaper. The PVD coated ones are guaranteed for life against rust and chipping.

Both kits are Chrome w/Black PVD per McGard.

https://mcgard.com/product/black-bu...et-m14-x-1-5-thread-size-set-of-4-lug-nuts-2/
https://shop.mcgard.com/black-cone-...uts-4-wheel-locks-1-key-and-key-storage-pouch

They are different kits though.

Yeah those ones have PVD, but they are more expensive(full price), the other link from the top is on sale currently. I’m not sure how long it’ll last or if it is always like that

From the description on the Amazon site.

However, if you go to the McGard website it says they have PVD.

Sorry for giving you misleading information. I thought they were different because the price is so much higher! I also thought the Tough Nuts that are guaranteed for life not to chip or rust were different. I stand corrected.

So the one on Amazon is the same as the McGard website or are they different? Should I just go for the Amazon link or the McGard link? I want to ensure it lasts, but if they are the same and last as long equally, I can go for the cheaper one. I can also spend more if quality is a major difference in the price. I just want the better ones if possible or if they are the same I guess I can go for the cheaper one.
-Thanks for your help!

Going by the part number they're the same kit. If what you get from Amazon is different from what's shown on Mcgards website then Amazon's listing is incorrect.

On amazon I've seen reviews about how they are too big for 20-inch wheels on the 2020 specifically so I'm not sure if that is an issue if it comes from McGard unless they are the same thing.
