I drive all across the country on the Trans-Canada highway and sometimes to the States and am worried about hitting a deer or a moose or an elk as i drive at night a lot and thus i want to add a LED light Bar on the roof or a pair of Cube LED lights on the hood. I don't have roof racks on my ST and am trying to find options and suggestions on how to add more lighting to my ST for Highway driving.
Any advice on what to do or how and where to do it will be appreciated.

Can you find a front grille guard with light mounts. Might not be a bad investment against the deer and moose also.

you could replace your grill with one from a timberline and add the factory set of SUPER BRIGHT lights that attach to cut outs in the grill
they are pricey...but wholly cow its like stadium when they are on

Had them on some of my other vehicles. Not bad for the price....
I’ve seen them on a few trucks and a Jeep around here. Not sure how they would look on an Explorer. I think @Caster has the right idea though. It’s a little bit of work but it looks clean.

I was most deffinately a lot of work for sure! Thankfully, it turned out great and I'm really happy with it. There is a little downside. The honeycomb grille does deflect light making it not as concentrated at a specific focal point as I would like. I like a combination of spot and flood light which my lightbar has, but the grille does break up both of those patterns. It still does its job well though.
