We have the ford first aid kits in both cars, in storage area in back
Plus a second one right behind seat in a soft sided thing with tissues, towel, jacket, dog leash, poop bags, etc. It's worse than traveling with kids

I'm on blood thinners for life too. Without them, I think I could cut an arm off and not bleed. I have clotting powder and bandages in all of my vehicles, at home, and bug out medical bag.

Do you have a stockpile or plan for obtaining blood thinners should pharmacies not be available? I don't, but after reading your post I'm going to look into them. I just spent a week in the ICU due to clots, so I'd be screwed if pharmacies were offline.
Good on you! I was allowed to go off them if I wanted to. I asked my cardiologist if he were my heart, what would he prefer. He started with “well we did do quite a bit of work”. Enough for me to deal with the bruising and risk.

I do have a couple months of thinners. Just built up a supply over the years from the weeks I had to go off for oral surgery or shoulder surgery.

I'm brand new here. Firstly I'm grateful to be a part of the community. Looking at this thread is giving me some ideas of my own. I'm just wondering if anyone knows the dimensions of the cargo box area underneath the cargo hatch? I was looking at doing a similar approach to being able to secure my tools and toys in the back. I personally was looking at installing a SnapSafe trunk safe II with the dimensions being 42”W x 7”H x 13”D and was wondering if anyone has an idea of what the fitment would be like based on the cargo box dimensions. Thank yall.
