Greetings. I ordered a 2025 Explorer ST in July and picked it up in August. It was my retirement gift, :). Love this thing minus a few gremlins I am dealing with. I have 4600 miles on it and have developed an issue with the predictive speed and the blue cruise. The predictive speed will randomly detect curves when there are none and detect random speed limit changes. Took it to my dealer and was told the camera in the windshield was faulty which they replaced, but did not fix the issue. Hopefully it is just a software issue that will sort itself out with an update. And my blue cruise does not engage anymore. Other than those, love the refresh.

Hi!
I don't know what to tell you about the pedictive speed issue. But I think as far as the Blue Cruise goes I think after a certain amount of time you need a subscription for it. We got emailed a notice about it a little while back, clicked the "more information " link then got a screen asking for personal information that we did not want to give out. So we couldn't even find out what they wanted for it. We decided we didn't need it that badly. Cool technology, but we paid handsomely for truck, they should already have the information they need and there is only so much money (and information)I am willing to shell out.
I myself don't like the fact that even though they build those systems into your car, and you buy and pay for it in the car, why should I have to pay to use it? But that is just me.

Not just you; I also refuse to pay extra for the use of apps that should be included with the price I already paid.

Thank you Jeff!
Yeah it's getting bad IMHO.
I have a 2015 GMC pickup. Bought it new as model year close out back in 2016 and I still Love it today, but recently GM disabled my remote start capability via the GMC app. It's now a subscription service! Until just recently It was free. That's really rubbing me the wrong way as I was never told way back 9 years ago they would do that!
Nope! Not paying for that either.

According to Google (which concurs with what I read in the Pass app):

As of October 2024, a Ford BlueCruise subscription costs $495 per year or $49.99 per month.

Key points about the BlueCruise subscription:
  • Price reduction: Ford recently lowered the price of the BlueCruise subscription from $800 per year.

  • One-time purchase option: You can also choose to purchase BlueCruise as a one-time payment for $2,495.
