Just picked it up yesterday and had a couple questions, did a search and nothing was listed, My key fobs do not have the ST logo on them, nor do the seat backs, was that a running change they made, or did I get a weird one? A
Thanks!

Interesting haven’t heard of that change, what production date do you have?

Also I work for a Ford dealer and had parts check the fobs that are under my vin and they show a picture and it's just the ford oval on the back, not the ST. Concerned I somehow got an ST Line vehicle, well short of the 3.0 under the hood, I checked my VIN and it is indeed an ST

Somewhere along the build date line they took the 14 speaker and massaging seats out, as well as the sunroof and made it a "package" so maybe something in that? No idea

Heard Job 2 builds and newer will no longer have ST Logo Key Fob, no more window shades for second row and no more electronic telescopic steering wheel.

If there's a way for Ford to fock thing up, they will do it. Decontent the vehicle but don't decontent the price to the consumer.. Everyday that goes by, I am becoming more discusted with Ford.

That’s outright shit, electronic steering wheel adjustments should be a standard in any $50K+ vehicle. I get it’s not used often but to get that perfect fit it’s awesome.

This is correct for Job 2 builds.

Also, they broke out the sunroof, stereo, and massage seats to the optional sun and sound package.

Interesting. I just picked up my new ST on Feb 1. It does have the ST logo on the front seat backs, but no logo key fob.

is around 2500 cheaper than the builds that had the standard sunroof, 14 B&O, and the massaging seats, so basically after adding that package it's maybe 500 more, BUT you loose the electronic steering adjustment controls, which we see a lot of them making noises

We all know that one way or another, Ford will be sure to benefit rather than the customer benefitting.

I did this so I inquired about it and honestly it makes sense why they did it. So I have a first build that has all of it included. I just built one with having to add the package and the price on the sticker is almost identical. Like within $25. The reason Ford did this is to make it more accessible. If someone wants an ST but doesn't want the features or can afford something over 60k then this will make it easier for them to sell more. I agree is BS but in the long right the price is almost the same for the same features.

lowerider4: I totally agree with your comment "If someone wants an ST but doesn't want the features or can afford something over 60k then this will make it easier for them to sell more." My issue was NOT the extra $$$ above $60K, it was getting the deleted sunroof, and fewer speakers on the B&O system that lead me to purchase mine. I did not notice the absence of the window shades, massaging seats or the "FORD" fab label vs "ST" till I was setting up my radio channels, garage door opener, etc out the garage. I had been checking the FORD "Build and Price" program two or three times a week and did not notice the change in pricing/options back in late November.
But you have to agree, these ST's are just down right nasty!! I came from 2 previous Mustang Shelby GTE's (one with over 456 HP, the other 345hp from an I-4 Ecoboost) and these ST's offer everything I was searching for without having to fall into and crawl out of it. My wife says the ST's are "Grown Up Mustangs".
