shift to reverse while driving

For the Ford techs I guess, it it possible to shift to reverse while driving, my radio mic cable turned the shifter knob to neutral while was driving, is it possible for the trans to shift to reverse while the car is moving, I really dislike this rotary shifter control...

During the Ford Experience drive, I rolled the shifter to P at Highway speed (On accidents) . A Message popup on the dash and I rolled back to D. Nothing happened.
