Hi!

1st week owner of an Agate Black ST, Street Pack, Tech Pack, Moonroof. Came by way of a SQ5 and 4Runner, so super happy with the decision!

Truck goes to shop this Friday

Prior:
I went with the Husky floor liners and cargo mat and found them to be as nice as the Weathertechs I previously had, and they are 50% off right now (fit was perfect)

Also got the rubber black cup holder mats, not here yet

Phase 1:
Paint Correction
triple Ceramic Coat
Clear Bra Front and all pillars (saw the webbing issue, thanks!)
Explorer badge delete from hood
ST badge delete from Trunk
Front windows tinted
Taillights tinted (50/50)
Debating on fog and headlights tinting (any feedback on visibility? I live in a very dark area and need all the high beams I can at times)
Front license plate delete, will go with normal rivet plugs for now, may buy the $30 painted ones

Black St Grille Badge:

Have Black out ford badges from OEMautoart on order, but will be ceramic coated and installed at end of Oct. with the black grille ST badge

Phase 2:
Agate Black Painted bumpers
Carbon or Black exhaust tips
finding a way to turn off cabin exhaust acoustics (Same annoying feature on my SQ5)
Bars (any feedback from owners on steering and feel since installing?)

Final pics to come after black out badges are installed around Halloween

Went with agate black matching emblems, I was able to do the swap on the front without having to take the passenger bumper side off, so took about 40 minutes with a helper to hold the DS bumper level. Back badge still to do.

How did you tint the tail light like that? Wrapped the white part with knifeless tape?

Truck looks great! What'd you tint the tails with?
I used Xpel 50% taillight wrap and had it hand pulled vs a template sticker. This is the lighter of the 2 tint options from Xpel, lights still are very bright in the day and evening. Since it was pulled we were able to leave the turn signal and backup lights uncovered, I also replaced both sets of bulbs with LED lights.

So humor me since I'm a noob on wraps. Is that a sheet of tint you fabbed up somehow to only cover the red portion of the taillight? Whatever you did, it looks perfect and I'd like to try and replicate it on my black ST!

Yes that’s exactly what I did, thanks for the feedback, I chose not to tint the headlights, as others have stated the headlights are quite narrow vs any euro I had before and I live out in a dark area so tinting wouldn’t have lasted long.

What bulbs did you use for the turn signals? Any hyper flash issue?
