I stumbled onto photos of a custom hybrid explorer in Vossens wheel catalog which has Vossen HF-2 wheels.

I am wanting to tap the groups experience and find out if these wheels and tires will fit without issues on a North Amercian Explorer ST with the 21 inch street package (wheels and brakes) (with H&R lowering springs) which may differ from the European Hybrid wheels and brakes. Pointing out any potential gotchas would be appreciated as the wheels are about $3800 and tires at least another $1200.

Spoke with KJ in customer service at Vossen and he was able to confirm the wheel specs and even tire size. I had determined the tires were Pirelli Scorpion Zero Asimmetrico from the markings. These tires appear to be a 2016 design that may be on there way out of production according to limited supply and some sales on Tirerack. The tire size is 295/40/22 front and back. He says one can also use 285 and 275 for more tire choices. This specific size (295/40/22) have no M&S marking so its a summer tire only. I would have to find a comprable all season tire that looks similar if possible. The wheels are Vossen HF-2 in gloss black - size 22x10.5 with an offset of ET32 and concave profile of "deep". So it appears you can get an ST version of the hybrid in Europe but I assume it comes with 20 inch wheels and tires. Correct me if I am wrong.

Here is the link to the vehicle I am referring to:

Any help would be appreciated.

They will fit fine. IMHO the perfect offset for a 10.5” wheel is +30 and those are really close. Anything between +30 and +35 is good. I was the first one to have a set of 22x10.5’s built at +30 and many others have used those specs with zero issues. I wouldn’t run a tire that narrow though...10.5’s need a 305 to really fill out the wheel wells. 305/35’s on a 22” wheel are perfect. Also, that tire isn’t going away...tires are just really hard to find right now with Covid crap and everyone being out of stock of summer tires. They’ll be plentiful in the spring but nobody is producing anything right now.
If you’re willing to spend that much take a look at BC Forged and their extensive catalog...you’ll probably find something you like even more. 22’s run about 4100 a set delivered.
These are BC Forged EH181 22x10.5 +30 with 305/35 Scorpion Zero Asimmetrico’s and H&R coils. No rubbing and no issues.

Stock 21s compared to your set up.

I also second BCFORGED, I run them on my hellcat and 392. Might get a little pricey but you can customize your own wheel with various finishes etc.
