I am reaching out to all the owners with OCD....are you guys upgrading your wipers as well?

I live in an area that doesn't get a lot of rain but when it rains it rains hard. We just had a storm pass through that dropped 2.5" of rain in 24 hours. Probably normal for a lot of you but heavy for me.

My car is less than a year old and the stock wipers are already struggling.

Any tips/comments are appreciated.

I replaced mine a month after I bought the car. The factory ones are garbage. Cheap, oxidized from sitting at the dealer, who knows - not worth my time to screw with.

I swapped on a set of Bosch Focus blades and haven't given them a second thought since. They work great now.

Bosch is really the best game in town. I put ICONs on mine before I had even owned it a week.

I've seen a lot of good reviews on the Bosch blades. My local parts house has the Bosch Icon blades which I am sure great too

Icons are great - they're what I usually use. I ordered a set for pickup, which ended up being out of stock - they swapped the new Focus blades for free.

They're basically upgraded Icons with some small construction improvements, glare reduction and a wear indicator. Not sure I'd pay the premium for them, but they perform just as well.

I use Bosch exclusively for my BMW. I didn’t want to complain about these Ford wipers as my car is only 3 weeks off the lot, but even with a hydrophobic solution on my windshield these are hot garbage.

I replaced with Bosch Icons within a month, after reading suggestions on this forum. They are a major improvement over the OEMs. Kudos to UNBROKEN, I recall it was this person's suggestion. I subsequently replaced the wipers on my RAV4 as well b/c the Bosch Icons are awesome IMHO.
