Thermal Exhaust + FenFab DP = Do I need a tune?

Hi All,

Long time lurker on this great forum,

I pulled the trigger last week on the catted FenFab down pipe and the thermal exhaust (inc. mid pipe).

Is the general consensus that I should get a tune to get the most out of the set up - but I can get away with no adverse effects or CEL if I get a tune later?

The reason for the wait is it has just had a new transmission (under warranty) and I want everything to settle down, and I am happy to wait for ZFG to get back in the game.

Any thoughts?

Can't speak from experience with tuning on the ST but you should be fine without a tune and those bolt ons. Granted you will most likely see a bigger increase with the tune added. If anything you might need defouler plug for the downpipes but I thought I read somewhere the cats that Fenn uses hasn't thrown any CEL's

I am pretty sure I read the same thing, the O2 sensor should be reasonably accessible I am guessing if I want to add these later (y)(y)

Might throw a CEL, but should have little to no adverse effects on driving without a tune.
