I went with HPT RTD. Ngauge would be cool but it's discontinued and didnt want to go with a soon-to-be dinosaur lol.

So i picked up a Dragy just for S’s & gigs yesterday. Only launched this thing a handful of times so my timing is non-existent. With a soft launch, moist wet ground post-rain, and a tune that hasn’t settled in yet and is still clunking 1st-2nd a bit & 2-3rd shift hard, I can officially run with the world’s fastest 3-row (SRT Rango). Hellcats haven’t landed yet lol.

Not to mention Ive got 32” Duratrac all terrains, 250lbs of BS/tools/car seat/etc on board, as well as an anchor/sail on my roof (i.e., Steel Cargo basket & traction boards). Not too shabby 5Star!

@blaster9 do you have the aftermarket intercooler or just the tune?

Blaster, you're only other performance mod is the Whipple, right? So no downpipes?

Whoosh VTA blow off adapter, K&N drop-in air filter, and metal valve caps sum up the “performance” parts haha

I returned the ST back to factory and the difference is shocking to me. It feels like a dog, even in Sport mode. The one thing that I do miss when I installed the 5Star tune is the FENG....I didn't think it would be an issue but even though the tune makes the vehicle so much faster....I feel like I'm missing out without hearing the enhanced engine noise. Anyone else feel that way? I have an email out to 5Star to see if they can alter my tune to 92 performance but keep the FENG

Funny b/c 5Star told me they couldnt remove FENG so i bought a FORScan adapter to get rid of it before the tune arrived. That sound is for the birds IMO. Get yourself a BOV or BOV adapter and enjoy that sound not the Hasbro vroom vroom haha

haha. Totally get it. I didn't ask 5Star to have it removed and I didn't really even notice it until I went back to stock. As far as the BOV, I don't want the whole neighborhood to hear me...but I like the "Hasbro vroom vroom". to each his own.

haha to each his own. i will say though that my BOV adapter gives it just enough sound to keep me happy but overall very quiet. i cant hear it at all if my radio is turned on and it makes 0 sound if im just cruising, e.g., 25-30mph through my neighborhood. I bet my neighbors are elated having come from a supercharged Silverado with long tubes and straight pipes haha

Hard to tell but did you brake-tq it to like 2200 rpms or so? Either way it seems better than my 5-star tune which is still clunking 1-2 and 2-3

yeah. Break and throttle to about 2k then to the floor.

I recently (100 miles ago) changed to stock tune for a few days then back to the 92 tune. It seems to be running smoother.

I'm currently waiting on my 3rd revision to the 93 perf tune. 1st version clunked 1-2 and 2-3 hard. 2nd version had more problems than I can list here including massive slippage (but resolved the clunks). Now we await V3.
