After 3 months of ownership I`m not impressed.
The ride is mediocre, interior noise is to loud and
build quality is below a $50+ vehicle. Had a
Lariat 150 in 2011, much better all round.

Well, to be fair, it's appropriate build quality for a $33k vehicle. It only hits $50+ because of the options and powertrain. If you are one that likes a smooth, cushy ride, the ST ride quality is not that--which is one reason, it's the only mainstream 3rd row SUV that I really like.

This is three different members (myself included) who you've been rude to because we've voiced displeasure with our vehicles. Why do you have a problem with people having a different opinion about their vehicle?

I have had mine for over 15 months and 15,000 miles and still love the beast! And yes it is a flawed gem but there was nothing else in the Ford stable that really got my interest in 2019. I almost got a 2019 Nautilus and if I had I'd be pissed right now having the old interior from 2015 and seeing the awesome new interior in the current Nautilus. Having the newest technology from Ford was the selling point of the ST and also how good it looked in Rapid Red with gloss black trim. One test drive made me grin like a school boy on his first joyride. It was love at first sight!

I’ve had mine about 14 months now with no issues. Granted, thanks to Corona, I only have 5,600 miles on it. Haven’t found anything I really dislike and am very satisfied with it. Yes the price was high but not compared to other sport SUVs like the X5. Much more room too. No complaints here.

I be had mine now about 3 months, got 1700 miles on it.

Being an old fart , gearhead, .....I can't hardly wait for the wife to say "let's go xxxxxx", just to get to drive it.

Loving it.

Yea, I would have to agree. I am not too impressed for the 60k sticker price of my 2020 ST. I traded my 19 F150 for it and for the price difference, I would rather have my F150. I have had SRT8 Cherokees in the past and felt the same way, underwhelmed. Possibly a tune could change my thoughts. Don't hate it, but don't love it either. Fortunately its only 237 a month so I will continue driving it for a bit.

What surprises me, why come to a forum where almost everyone loves the ST, and complain? What were you hoping the results would be? I'm shocked more people haven't had negative things to say about your post. Everyone is entitled to an opinion but do you think posting that here was the best thing to do? Does your negative post help in any way?

I love this car too. I think its well worth the $60k. But I also don't see $60k being a lot for a car these days. I just bought my wife a Mercedes C300 and paid $60k for it and it is middle of the road as far as options and amenities go so I think the ST for $60k is a great value. I have a friend of mine that has ordered the Hellcat Durango (still waiting for it) and paid $80k+ for that.

I’m waiting for my ordered ST ($53k) after considering an $80k MB GLE43 AMG. Now that, for the money, was underwhelming! I’m trading a ‘17 XLT (that I love) and expect to be very satisfied even if I do have to endure a couple of glitches. All brands have them.

I have a about 10,000 in 4 months of ownership and thus far its everything I’ve expected. There are the occasional issues like delay in the screen (which I notice happen when it’s really cold out).. I went from a Ram 1500 with the bells and whistles to this. A few complain about the 60K price tag, but what is the price tags of a comparable model? Not many twin turbo SUVs out there with this price tag.

His post does help, in fact. Lots of people who are looking to buy a new vehicle will go to these sorts of forums and look to see what people have said about a given car--both good and bad. It's important to know the cons just as much as the pros when it comes to researching a new vehicle. I'm sad I didn't do more research on forums myself before making my purchase.

I’ve participated in, worked on and even owned car forums for about the last 15 years. One immutable truth is that the people complaining far outweigh everyone else. People rarely log on to espouse the virtues of their new car...but they will continually log on to complain about the smallest of things. Anyone not knowing any better and reading these forums would think every single one of them is just falling apart at the seams. We all know that’s not the reality of the situation. Just look at the “A VIN” thing...it grew so prevalent that people are now worried about 2021 A VINs...because they don’t know the difference. Hell...a guy was legit complaining on a FB group yesterday because the carpet was cut under his seat. Not sure how else he thinks mfg’s pass electrical wiring up to the seat but the point is...unknowing people will read stuff like that and think it’s actually an issue.

I have to agree with UNBROKEN on this .

I have been involved with car/truck/gun forums for at least 15 years.
I can tell you that the forums are where 90 % of the posts are about the defective product.
It's just a place to try and seek out info and help to address the problems.
Rare to have people come on a forum just to say how great a product is.
Just my experience over the years.
I joined this forum few weeks prior to owning my ST. I've seen more positive posts than usual here.

I haven't had one complaint with mine yet.
Oh , pardon me ...one complaint ....this stinking ST doesn't get 35 mpg.
