Anybody try it yet?

I previously used Carly to make code changes to my BMWs. Imagine Forscan with a useable user interface. I’ve used a tablet to monitor performance using Carly and it’s a solid software for those vehicles.

Currently the only features available for Ford cars:
  • Diagnostics (ODB)
  • Emissions check (ODB)
  • Live data (ODB)
Since they just started supporting Ford cars, and I’m banking on them taking on Forscan capabilities soon.

That would be nice if they made it easy to configure some settings like you can with BMW. Doubt they could find anything more than Forscan already does, but they could make it more convenient. Then again, maybe there's a reason why Forscan Lite doesn't do configuration changes.

I still have my Carly from my BMW and have a grandfathered lifetime subscription. I have a lifetime Carista sub for my wife's Audi too.

I think what’s key for them to be better than Forscan is if they map out each module and the options. There’s still so many lines within ACIM that haven’t been defined for the Explorer that the community leans on F-150 mapping to guess possible solutions.
