I had tested dash cams at work, as they were looking for a good product to view both sides of the road for hazards, needed repairs, signs, guide rails, etc., and they were difficult to use. My niece showed me these Rove Dash Cams, that her co-workers were using on their vehicles. The first one I had purchased was the Rove R2-4K, and used that one for a short time, but I still wanted a rear camera, also. I looked on websites, but all of the rear cameras are 1080P capable. When the Rove Stealth 4K PRO WiFi Ultra HD was on sale, I purchased one for the front of the vehicle, and moved the R2-4K to the rear of the vehicle. I had purchased a kit, so that I mount the Stealth 4K PRO unit to the bottom of the rear view mirror, I use the two piece clamp. There is a kit to hard wire the dash cam to the electrical system, for activating the parked feature. I have since replaced the first vehicle with this new vehicle, so I must mount the rear camera in the new vehicle. It is very important to purchase, separately,
ONLY the Samsung EVO Class 10, U3 Speed MicroSDXC Card for the unit, up to 512GB maximum. There are two read/write speeds. For the R2-4K, I have the slower 128GB Plus card, which works great, and I have a 256GB Select higher speed card for the Rove Stealth 4K PRO WiFi Ultra HD, as it was a better deal than the 512GB card, and it works great for me.
