My 2020ST is a piece of junk. It has steering noises, feels like it has a vibration/rumble noise (similar to sound of driving with back windows open), glitchy Sync, clunking underneath since day 1 that nobody can figure out, steering is off center, seat memory doesn’t work. Just a joke of a $60k vehicle honestly. The biggest issue, for all those considering other brands is that Ford plays defense when it comes to problems with its vehicles rather than taking accountability and wanting to help. I’ve had fords, BMW’s, Infiniti, Chevy, Dodge…….and Ford is just the worst of the worst. Sitting at the dealer now, waiting for them to determine IF they can get me a car to drive while this boat anchor of a vehicle is being worked on. I am sure the answer will be no, but that’s okay, because it will just allow me more time to sit and tell everyone and their mother how irritated I am.

I wonder how many of these ST's are problematic vs being a good build with minimum issues?
It seems by the forums a guess would be 60/40.
60% are good with minimum issues
40% have many issues.
Maybe 70/30..
My last car was completely different (2008 Acura TL sedan) and it was good to me.
I had approx 150 miles on it and it ran very well during the time I had it.
Luck of the draw maybe?

Can't go off what the FB pages or Forum posts state. 99.9% of the people that have great STs don't post "hey, my ST is great!". People that complain do it online.
There are "bad apples" in every vehicle line. BMW, Merc, Audi, GM, Toyota......it happens. Work with your dealer, or a different dealer, to rectify the situation.

True. Just giving stats for what I personally see on the forums.
The one thing that surprises me and maybe this is a Ford thing idk but the lack of help from the dealerships.
It seems Ford doesn't want to touch anything unless pushed and/or forced.
Many times I see the same feedback from people having to go to another dealer.
Maybe this is just the forum feedback and numbers are skewed as well idk.
I met someone locally who has a '20 and hasnt had any issues so far. Not sure on mileage though.
I also have a '21 with 18,500k and nothing major aside from that darn blue screen when reversing.

2020 White ST driven 13,000 miles only had the driver puddle light tab break off which caused the puddle light to dangle on the wires an inch or two beneath the mirror. Went to the dealer and they grabbed a new one off an ST in stock and changed it on the spot and I was on my way. At that time they had a 125 explorers in stock with up to 20 ST's. Now the lot is a ghost town due to shortages.
2020 Red ST driven 13,000 plus. Zero issues so far.
