Our 2020 Lincoln Corsair goes back to the dealer this Thursday for round 2 of this recall. My 2021 ST was just corrected with this recall and seems to be fine so far.
Update: My ST’s round 1 rear camera recall fix failed and now must have a whole new module installed. I’ll keep you posted
BTW-My neighbor’s 2021 Explorer Limited has been at the dealer for over 3 weeks now due to an dashboard airbag light that will not go out. Freaky huh!

I received the recall notice for the rear camera but I have never had an issue with the camera so no reason to let them fix it until its broke.

I took my 2020 ST in November 6th for the Blue screen recall. It still did not work. Had the moble unit service it again on November 11th and it is still not fixed. They originally told me if it didn’t work the second time they’d replace the entire back up camera unit. Now they are telling me they are not sure what’s next. I would just love to get this taken care of. Although it is intermittent, it’s annoying.

I finally had the back up camera issue rear its head.

I'll be scheduling with my service department for the fix.

What's interesting is I traveled twice in November leaving the car parked for 5-7 days each time. I noticed I could drive it for several days without having the blue screen problem. Today is the 5th day of driving since Thursday, when I returned after 7 days away, and still no blue screen. Let's see when it will start again. Before I left it was happening almost every day.

UPDATE: Completed the 2nd trip to the dealer for the blue screen camera recall so they could replace the entire imaging unit. So far so good.

Also my second trip to the dealer, although I don't think the did anything at the first dealership. Took it to another dealer and they programmed the IPMB module and replaced the rear camera, so far so good!

Just curious. Is the video quality any better with the new camera?

I didn't notice any difference, but I didn't look real hard either. Also we've had some rain this week so the old camera probably needed cleaning anyway lol!

I had the recall service for the camera software update done on January 14. I had not had the blue screen for 2 months. Today it happened for the first time since a month before the recall work. Now the dealer said they will order a camera and replace it. Let's see if that takes care of it!

I have had my camera replaced and still getting a blue screen every now and then. Will let the dealer know when it goes in for its 15,000 mile service

I read on here that others have had their image control module replaced but don't know if that resolved the issue.

It's the from module(if all cameras are blue) or rear, if rear is blue.
Problem is with bnc connectors and their shitty design, on how they plug into the module.
Front module, is right behind the carpet, passanger side floor, where feet go.
Rear, is back, passanger side area, somewhere by the back window.
The connectors brake off or have excessive movement, causing loos if connectivity.
No software update will fix that.

It is just the rear camera. When it goes blue and I shut the vehicle off and turn it back on the rear camera is okay then.

Same with mine just rear image is blue and sometimes image is there but there is a Reverse Backup Assist fault message on the instrument panel. The fault message also appears when the camera image is blue.

Had this issue with my 2020 Platinum. Rear camera view blue with Reverse brake assist unavail. Only happened a handful of times in a months timespan. Recall does literally nothing, so I threw a new rear camera at it and it’s been 3 months or so without a single issue. However some have had better luck with having the IPMA module replaced also (I’m a Ford technician)

Interestingly, when I called Sheehy Ford Gaithersburg today to tell them the recall didn't fix the camera issue, the advisor told me they have a camera specialist. Also, I had a problem with part of my rear defrost grid not working and the elements are peeling off. He also said they have a glass specialist who will work on that problem. When the parts arrive, he will have both specialists on site to work on my vehicle. Crossing my fingers!
