That's what $10 touchless car washes are for, stick with your gut feeling on black! It's gorgeous!!!

Sorry to lose out on your new toy so soon. hopefully you get another one soon. Any extra options you are going to go for that you didn't have before?

Glad you're okay.

It has been my experience that black metallic does look amazing clean but has to be washed weekly. Silver and bright colors like blue and red look good all the time, even when dirty but look amazing when just washed. That's when you realize it wasn't clean!

The only time I got 3 speeding tickets with one car was with a red car. Never again. The red on black accents does look good for the ST though.

I'm in love with this red car and it is my first ever! I test drove a black one and blue metallic one then when I saw Rapid Red it was love at first sight. I've had 3 silver cars, a blue metallic and black one. This ST is also my first vehicle that wasn't a 4 door sedan! It took some getting used to.

Let’s hope we never get too comfortable with raw power, comfort, and a good looking SUV. Let’s keep this gravy train going!

Glad you're ok! While researching, I thought the Silver Spruce paint was pretty cool, but couldn't find one in Arizona. I think any of the bright colors could be ticket magnets if you're not disciplined. White was my second choice, but settled for silver, based on available options and price... Black is awesome, but it's hotter and hard to keep clean in the dusty desert.

Well, picked up my new one today. Ended up going with Magnetic Grey, and absolutely love it. I agree with the black being difficult to keep clean, and in my opinion, since the grey is so dark, it’s kind of a happy medium. 5255B63C-F477-4CF7-9019-037BE741D2EA.jpeg 7F6BD74D-ADC2-49C9-925A-6902D16F6740.jpeg

I looked all over the National capital region, and ended up getting it from Ted Britt Ford in Fairfax VA.
