Hi all. I just bought a brand new ST about 3 weeks ago. Everything is working great except the remote start. The batteries in the key fob are fine as all other functions work. As this being such a new car, I can’t imagine there are battery issues in the car itself. Just wondering if anyone has had a similar issue and if it’s a quick fix to avoid going back to the dealership. Thank you!

What exactly is happening. What is the sequence of buttons you're pressing to work the remote start? (Not questioning your intelligence but sometimes by hitting lock first and then start twice seems to work better)

I forget where it is, but make sure that remote start is enabled in the vehicle settings as well.

Well that worked! I thought if the vehicle was locked I didn’t need to hit the lock again before pushing the remote start twice. I guess you should be questioning my intelligence lol! Thank you very much.

Thought I had the same problem. Complained about it to a friend with a King Ranch and she set me straight on the button sequence. Who can possibly read the entire Owner’s Manual?
