It's just occurred to me that if the dog does this trick in the garage the tailgate will hit the garage door... :(

Installed my sto N sho license plate bracket. Very happy with it.
Not happy about finding a little nick in the paint on the front fascia. But, I know that’s par for the course.

Got the garage door openers synced... left button for the right door, right button for the left door...oh well.
Removed some stubborn water spots from paint & shiny plastic.
Messed with the Nav system during which I found the previous owners home address (in Alhambra Ca) & all the places he (edit: she) liked to go. Removed her favorites, added a few on my own.
Discovered this ST may have been traded in at a different Autonation than where we found it on Monday.
Changed the lights in the car from blue to green. (edit: which reset themselves to blue again)

Later:
Had another play with the electronic sorcery, found the previous owners phone still synced, deleted that.

More faffing about in the electronic sorcery dept.
Fitted a receiver cover (blacked out US flag), came with a buttload of O rings to put on the pin to stop it rattling around, they could have made the damn pin an inch shorter.

I haven't been able to do anything yet as I don't have my Explorer yet. But I have succeeded in receiving two or three packages a week in anticipation of my Explorer lol First time I have ever bought parts for a car I don't have yet.

Been on a step ladder detailing the roof. Got the left half done.

Not gonna lie, I am looking forward to the smaller vehicle to detail. Even my ceramic paint correction guy bitched and moaned about how much sheet metal is on my Sierra 2500HD

Mr Fed Ex driver just showed up with my Whipple :)

Got ambitious & finished the roof, then did the outside of the wheels too. When my pinch weld adapter plate for the jack arrives I'll probably pop the wheels off one at a time & do the barrels too.

Confused myself.

Looked up fuel capacity online last week & it stated 15 gallons.. so I was a bit confused to get 16.88 gallons in the tank at Costco this morning.
Looked on line again today & found it's 20.2gal (y)
Light came on & said 50 miles to empty this morning... it was 29 when I pulled into Costco.

So apparently it thinks I was going to use 3.32 gallons of gas to travel 29 miles o_O
