Anyone else have mismatched trim fitted to the doors?

Bright sunny day here today. Had the left rear door open & this is what I see:

It's a 2020, so it's been like this for two years... Looked up parts on line, apparently that part isn't available by itself, but the entire door panel is.. for $408.

Well DUH!! Sun moved (ok, Earth rotated a bit), now I CAN see it on other parts, it even has green sparkles in the finish.

Getting old frigging sucks... but it still beats the alternative.

I think the parts may have discolored with time. I have an early build 2020 and it has some of the color change but just not as bad as yours. I previously attributed it oxidation from ozone treatments. Now I think maybe it's from UV.

Inconvenient but, you could see if there is a shop near you that can wrap it in the gloss black like the 2021+ models. I thing the gloss adds more depth, doesn't feel as cheap. I'm happy I ended up waiting for the 21. Kind of by accident but I wanted to do a bigger down payment.

It's too uniform to be UV, I think it doesn't show unless the sun is shining directly on it.

Bright sunny day here today. Had the right rear door open & this is what I see:….
Yeah, that entire piece is different. That’s likely the base color of the plastic showing through. What is your paint color?

Magnetic metallic. The green sparkles in the brown plastic part were a surprise.

Did you buy it used? I would get it replaced under warranty if you are under 36k miles.

Used, under 6k miles. Still has warranty... Are you saying it's not supposed to be that color? There are other pieces that are brown instead of black. I'll get more pics today.

Edit/update:
Well damn, Yesterday I could see the brown up front, today I can't, but the other rear door has it.

Could be oxidation, similar to how light switch covers turn yellow over time.

ok, bright sunny day. There are brown parts on all four doors AND the steering wheel trim, including the part at the bottom where the ST logo is.

The thing is, you are talking about MY2020. I know for sure, this coloration wasn't there when new but happens gradually over time. Yours seems to be more pronounced than mine but I think it's pretty much the same--noticeable in bright sun light
