Bumper Plugs

Hello Everyone!
I want to eliminate the front license plate on the ST. I have read a few people talking about plugs to cover/fill in the holes.
I’m having difficulty locating these if someone can point me in the right direction.

They sell them already painted for like 30 bucks.
Now what are they actually selling? 50 cents worth of 1/4” plastic “Christmas tree” plugs you can paint yourself with 8 bucks worth of Dupli Color spray paint.

Maybe they prep better than I do but the bumperplugs seem to be very durable. When I tried to DIY, the paint eventually came off. I decided to bite the bullet and pay the 30 bucks plus shipping.

My vote is for the bumperplugs.com plugs. They are already painted the correct colors. I tried to paint my first plugs but they couldn't take the high pressure car wash and if the bug splatter is on the plug I do not want to worry about stripping the paint so I will wet things down overall to soften the bug guts prior to concentrating on any specific areas. I have had them on both ST's that I have had without any problems and the car wash I use has high pressure.

I tried this and the paint flaked off the minute you put any flex on the plug. I ordered bumper plugs and they use OE paint with the additive that gives flex so it does not flake off

you don't need to. go to any auto parts store and pick up a platic christmas tree fender plug--the only color they come in is flat black - perfect match. you might have to poke around to find the right size but they should have a big selection to choose from
