These are pics of my MY2020. The firewall insulation is an aluminum clad material that starts up top of the firewall and goes all the way down to surround the areas around the downpipes. It appears to be in segments. Your insulation may be completely black without the aluminum skin. I've noticed lately people posting engine bay pics with no apparent insulation. Another 2021-2022 cost-cutting?
