295/35/21. Anyone try?

Does anyone know if a 295/35/21 will fit the stock 21s?

I believe a 275 is as wide as is advisable. I think a 295 is roughly 2.6" wider than the 9" stock wheel.

Tire width is measured in mm. So 295 is about .78" wider than 275.

2.5" wider tire would be like a 335 width.

He said wheel and the measurement given would indicate the wheel is what was being referred to. A 295 is 11.6xx wider than the factory wheel at 9 inches.

With the 35 aspect ratio, that tire is going to bulge on a 9" wide rim. A 295/40 would be a better choice if you want to use the stock wheels but still is a bit wide for a 9" wheel.

295/45 would probably be best for the 21’s.

most people run 305/40/22’s

I’m running 285/35/24’s and no rubbing at all.

Thanks guys. So either a 295/45 or a 285/40 or 45?? Just trying to find more options.


I will probably end up with some .75 spacers. Not sure if that will cause an issue.

Keep in mind that those running 295, 305, or 315s are generally running 10" or 10.5" wide wheels. 295 or 305s generally need at least a 9.5" wide wheel.
