No issues with the 275 21’s hooking! They get a little spin. Since the driveshaft has been partially proven to be a weak link, a little spin might not be terrible.



Stock, except for drop in AFE Dry, and ZFG E50 tune. This is the 2nd fastest time I have seen. 3.75, also done by me, but a negative DA.

All I am saying is if the 305’s stick real well, to be careful. Wheel hop and a hard launch trashed another guys drive shaft.

I have a project starting soon that will have this thing parked during the week...I’ll be dropping the DS off at my favorite shop to have a good one built. I never trust a stock driveshaft...and especially not a friction welded Ford piece of shit. lol
If parts are available I’ll step it up to 1350 u-joints as well. I tend to overbuild.

I'm curious how much slower the 0-60 times would be without rev'ing up first... just stepping on the gas to start. The last thing I need is to snap a driveshaft on my ST mobile, (My kids call it the ST mobile, saying it like a word, not two separate letters... lol) lease. But, I can't do anything till it gets back from the shop... lol. under 300 miles and it's 2nd trip to the dealer for powertrain malfunctions... ugh. But, even still, I love this car, for me, the best car I've ever owned.
I can limit your torque in 1st gear and second gear so it doesn't happen.

I had a ds built for my F150 before I ever even put the blower on it. It’s a known issue for those things. No way I was gonna trust the stock one on 160-170mph blasts.

I bought a livernois tune when I first got my truck. I had it for the last 3-4 months and it was pretty good over all. I was interested in doing a e85 tune in my truck so I contacted Adam from zfg racing after reading his posts on the forum. I was thinking of doing a pbd set up but I am glad I went with Adam. I just loaded his 93 tune in my truck. It’s fast. I prefer the way he has the tranny programming set up as well. I was having issues with the tune... he went on my laptop and did it all for me personally!!! You guys tell me who else is willing to do stuff like that lol

I am in Toronto. The only e85 I can find is a 30gallon drums ... he just dropped the price to 150.00. I wonder if it’s because they are getting old.

my plan is to drive to buffalo (1hr) and load up a transfer tank in my f350 with 100gallons of e85 hahahahaha haha I just need the border to open up.

I should have my high pressure fuel pump and front mount intercooler early July. Ordered everything a couple weeks ago

1050.00 cnd by the time it arrived
Super easy to install
Good results

zfg tune
850.00cnd
Hp tuner software a bit tricky(Plus I am terrible with computers)
Adam remotely logs on
Adam loads base tune
I do some 4th gear pulls with the data logging
Adam revises tune
I do pulls again
Adam revises tune
All this goes down Friday night between 9pm and 11pm lol
Exactly the service I was looking for

if your not near a big shop where you can go in and throw the truck on a dyno ..... call Adam

Wow... super weird... I had a reply to ZFG, stating he may have earned another customer with his post about limiting the torque... But, now it's not here. Strange... Guess I forgot to hit "post reply" lol. Anywho...

Thanks for all "upvotes" for Adam at ZFG. I am absolutely convinced, and will be ordering his tune. Now, I just need to figure out if I want the upgraded fuel pump as I'm not sure if anyone around me would be able to install it. By any chance, is there anyone in this thread in SE Michigan, specifically Commerce Twp area who would be able ot install the fuel pump? Ultimately, I'd love to replace the stock exhaust, and add the Whipple IC, at least and would love to find someone or someplace I could have it done...

Now I just need my ST back... Kept getting powertrain malfunction errors, which they're trying to figure out...

ford dealer did my exhaust for 150.00(Any muffler shop could do it)

Ford body shop quoted me 3hrs for the intercooler install (any good body shop could do it)

fuel pump looks pretty straightforward as well Adam has a video of the step by step install (any decent mechanic could do it) you do need a different tune for the truck to run

one of the guys here has a e50 tune which doesn’t require the pump. I think his truck runs 3.75 sec 0-60 or something crazy like that. That’s a good option as well

That 3.75 is me. That was a cool night, almost perfect conditions, but Adam’s(ZFG) E50 tune will rip 3.8’s all day even in 90+ degrees.

Ugh... Gmail keeps putting my email notifications in my spam folder, even after I added the email address to my contacts, and mark all the emails, as not spam...

Mruff1975, I'll see what I can find, but I'd rather find one place I can have it all done with, or local mechanic...

@Breezyjr Mine did the same initially. Took weeks of telling gmail the notifications weren't spam. It finally learned. I'm beginning to believe gmail self corrects when google does periodic app updates.

Google’s Spam logic/detection is done Server side, not client side. App updates have nothing to do with whether messages are detected as Spam. It is all based on weighting, total messages sent from, and many other factors.

I have been doing a ton of research on tuning companies and have narrowed it down to a couple but just curious if any others out there have a standard 91 tune only with a possible 93 tune on a programmer ? I do not want to send my computer off anywhere or want to have to sit on a laptop for hours so someone can remotely tune . I know that i can get so much more with E85 or some crazy custom tune but that is not what i am looking for . I want a 91oct. DD tune since that's all we have here and a possible 93 tune that i can accomplish with some booster . I don't race this vehicle but i do like to play around a bit and i am not looking to break any land speed records .

Just sold a 550whp Boost Logic TT Ferrari 360 tuned for 93 and it was such a pain in the a55 for every fill up . Before that , I had a Weistec Stage 3 C63 AMG tuned on 91 and that was so easy to deal with....and still made 650whp .

No. You can always go up, just not down.

Are there states that do no have 93 Octane? I live near Washington DC. VA, MD, & DC all have 93 Octane.

Second Question: If you can only go up, it may be safer (if traveling often) to stick with a tune for 91. But will I get more Horsepower/Torque from a 93 tune?
