It’s really starting to heat up, at least in Maryland and I’d like to get a sun shade for my ST. Any recommendations? I know I need to get one that has a gap in the top middle to accommodate the camera sensors and also since I have a dash cam that records while in park.

Same, Covercraft. Fits perfect and have been using them on all of my vehicles for years.

Yeah that’s what I’m debating on just going with. I wonder if my dealer would have those in stock.

I thought my sun shade was a Cover Craft however I was wrong. It is the Ford sun shade shown in post #5. It works great.

Do you think it would be accommodating to a dash cam that is installed right near the other camera sensors?

I've never used one of those and my dash has never cracked if that's what the concern is. Then again I've never kept a car more than 8 or 9 years.

Yeah I’ve never used one as well in any of my previous cars. Honestly I think it’s partly protection of a car I’m finally passionate about but also to keep the heat down in the car.

I always use remote start to cool it down.

Move to the Houston TX area and park you car in the sun for a few hours and you might have a different opinion about sunshade use. It's more about not burning the shit out of yourself than protecting the car. Keeps the steering wheel cool and reduces the cabin internal temp tremendously especially if you have tented window.

I use one as often as possible, living in the Phoenix, AZ area... you NEED one... helps to keep the interior temp lower and protects your dashboard as well.

That’s the one I have in my car actually. Would that accommodate a dash cam that I have install right next to the camera and tech on the windshield? I see it has that gap for all that stuff.
Its a pretty big gap. And it flexes. I think it would work

Where do you guys keep your folding sun shade? They’re not small by any means. I feel like if I throw it in the trunk, I’ll be a lot less likely to use it.
