Okay. Sorry for being dense since your earlier post talked about it not effecting the other modes with the horse power gains being found in Normal and Sport and was trying to figure out if there was a difference between the two modes. The short answer is ”no”.

There is driver demand torque request, sport mode is just a gas pedal translation and some transmission shift settings. Think of it as a modifier.

Fair enough. Speaking of modifiers, does your tune also adjust the transmission shift settings?

Increase in clutch pressure to prevent slip, it cannot be felt and other than that the transmission acts like stock.

The idea behind adapt-x is a car that drives like stock until you go wide open throttle. Driving it you would never know it was tuned.

So new to this forum though I'm not new to a tuned eco boost. Had my ST for about 4 months now and before that I was in a Fusion Sport w/FMIC & Tune. I can say that the normal driving conditions you will deff see an improvement in gas mileage. Now the desire to mash the throttle and drive more 'aggressively' will of course diminish that lol.

In general, my drives to the office 40 miles round trip with combination of highway and city I noticed the diff right away. Now I fully expected the claims of others to be crazy and did not tune the car for better fuel efficiency. It is a nice plus when we're not driving the thing like an ST should be!

Just my two cents. Tim do you provide a discount for forum members? Very exciting stuff...i'm finding it harder and harder to wait to tune this beast.

Yes for tune files only (not device bundles) there is the code "monster10" that takes 10% off. It's available on all Adapt-X calibrations and is a facebook/forum discount code.

Once you get it installed I would be curious on your thoughts.
Same I welcome and appreciate all feedback, and dragy data. I want to grow within the Explorer ST community and be a valued vendor in this group to provide reliable and safe calibrations that meet performance expectations. Reliability is my #1 goal first.

Over on focust.org our tuning thread there you will find 0 engine failures ever.

YES! First order of business is flashing it when I am off work. Will absolutely provide feedback in the coming days. But if the tune is as good as your customer service I am very excited.
Oh yeah guaranteed best customer service in the business. You will hear that from anyone tuned by us.

Our tuning model of Adapt-X allows for same day tune delivery times. I usually build tunes at night after all the orders come in so I can do them all at once.

I was taking a look at the competition and noticed our tune comes in $100 cheaper and even then has a 10% code "monster10" that takes it even lower. We normally charge $350 for 6 cylinder ecoboost tunes and $250 for 4 cylinder ecoboost tunes unless it's a mustang.

Seems like we found the sweet spot.

Curious if you've had a chance to run the tune yet and what your thoughts are. I've been going back and further between this one and another.

He's provided some feedback via email quote "So far so good. Really enjoy it. I will be posting on the forum I’m just giving it another day or two. "

So we should hear back from him soon. He probably wants to give it more time to ensure proper feedback.

I have had the tune in the vehicle for a few days. I think I am still learning the OAR, (Have not figured out how to check...have not tried very hard) that being said...I am very VERY happy with the tune. I really like the way it drives. Its not wild face-melting speed...but didn't want that, and my vehicle is bone stock. But to me the vehicle feels much better. It feels effortless for the vehicle, l have looked down more then once and had an extra digit in the cluster if you catch my drift. And it did not seem like it had to work to get there. I don't have any "hard data" but my butt dyno feels an increase. I am actually seeing several more MPGs as well, and I have not consciously changed my driving style. That us based on the cluster, I plan to confirm manually at some point.

The service from @monstertuned is amazing as well.

In my book this was money well spent. And my next vehicle (on order) hopefully can help me with a tune for that EcoBoost as well. :)

If you have a specific question, or anyone, feel free to PM me and I am happy to answer.
Thank you for taking the time to share your initial reactions. I appreciate it.

Appreciate all the feedback! Please let me know if you guys ever have any questions regarding the tune. This is 3 explorer st customers now where I've heard getting improved MPG after flashing our Adapt-X.
I don't want to make any official tune claims on MPG because I don't want to have to support that data, but this is still very good news!

Right up until you posted this message, I was willing to stay quiet and see where this was headed. But then you posted those numbers. So I'll assume you're talking about highway driving since in-town traffic conditions, etc are nearly impossible to measure unless you're doing some fixed CAFE test. You're saying your tune will move my ST from a little over 25 mpg (measured over multiple tanks on long road trips) to 28.75 to 30 mpg? Right. Is there a particular fuel one should use to achieve this miracle? Are you also saying your HP gains are specific to "sport mode"?
It's pretty common for a tune to increase MPG because they usually advance the timing across the board.

More timing = more HP, which means you can use less fuel to keep the vehicle moving at part throttle.

The downside? It increases emissions, which is probably one of the main reasons the factory doesn't do it.
