My ST has less than 3000 miles on it, has anyone had issues with the mesh coming apart? See pics.

No because I have no intention of using them. That’s what tint is for. lol

I have tint, it just looks cool and I like to have the breeze coming in, and the music flowing out.

Then I think it’s a safe bet the wind is beating them to death. They’re designed to be used with the windows closed.

My mother in law noticed them (wish she hadn't and she lives with us- please pray for me LOL) and the 1st time she put it down she just let it go! Told her if she broke it she bought it

I haven't even pulled them up. One item that I'll never use. :)

It is an odd feature considering the rear windows are tinted, guess it's good for kids and mother in laws :)

Never have raised either one.

Can't think of any reason to.

Haven't even checked to see if they are torn.

Raised mine briefly to test. Otherwise they go unused, as no one sits back there. But I agree with the assessment earlier in the thread that it is being wind damaged.

I have 5% tint so no need for them imo. Plus my kids would mess with them if they were up.

My 4 year old approves of them, so his side stays up much of the time.

My golf buddies like the shades, here in Florida it comes in handy...but the windows stay up since the AC is on!

I have a 2 year old and a newborn and these shades still stay up 100% of the time even though I have darker tints. Don't want the sun shinning jn their faces all the time. Still in gold shape after a year.

My kids love them, especially on trips. Holding up fine even with them messing with them constantly, but I also don't have them up with the windows down.

I've yet to use the "peasant blockers" (as a certain YouTube channel refers to these shades!) after 15 months of ownership.
