do you have the 21" wheels and tires? because they are heavier than the 20's and will slow you down some

I got a 2.01 stock with the 20's so a 2.10 is good with 21's

I picked up a set of XLT 18" wheels to use for winters and I weighed them. Versus the 20", they are 11.2 pounds lighter.

First try with the new E50 tune… felt like a second gear scratch. Can’t wait to hit the track for a 1/4 mile run.

Did a few stock runs the other night to get a baseline down. Having a hard time getting a decent 60ft and launch, any tips would be greatly appreciated.
With your fairly good DA, you match C&D's 13.8 and you're a tenth faster than MT's 13.9 time (both journals ran with 21" wheels).

No reason to be concerned, you're running exactly as expected for stock.

Exactly as I thought. ST's running the 20's are a tenth faster than those with the 21's.

11lbs lighter per wheel? That's a massive difference.

Anyone here weigh the OEM 20" wheel vs. the OEM 21" wheel? Has to be a similar difference in weight.

My 20" wheel and tire weighed 70.8 pounds. Don't have 21" to compare to though. The 18" weighed 59.6 pounds. Cheers.

For some reason my 0 to 60's keep getting slower and slower, about a week ago I was doing it in 6.04, now it's in the 6.4 to 6.5 range with my quarter in 14.87, any suggestions??

Have you considered temperature and humidity?

Temps have been in the low to mid 90s with 80+% humidity, do you think it can affect it that much??

I want to know what just the 18" wheels weigh vs the 21" wheels. No tires.

I will let you know what the 18" wheels weigh once I switch over the rubber from the stock XLT to something more performance based.

I'm surprised nobody has answered you yet! DA (Density Altitude) can greatly effect performance.

Increased air temp, lower barometric pressure and higher humidity all have a detrimental effect on acceleration numbers.

Go to this website, plug in a few variables, and watch how much the ET/MPH changes:
