Sounds good, thanks for the update!
It's been awhile, so I thought I would check back in on this one to see if anyone has tried anything new with the backdoor noises. I have taken the doors apart several times this summer and I have foam stuffed everywhere around the sunshade and I still get clicking noises out of both. It just seems to me that the entire sunshade area is REALLY poorly designed. I rode in a 2021 Honda Pilot for work the other day and the rear doors didn't make a single noise and they had the sunshades as well. The rest of the vehicle sucked, but at least it was quiet I guess.

In other news, I did have the driver's seat fix (rubber hose/clamps) done by the dealer last month and that has really helped the seat from shifting and the noises I was hearing from there. Now if I could just figure out the backdoors...

Can you share more info about the drivers seat issue and what the fix was? I have the loud pop/click sound coming from drivers side…can’t pinpoint where it is. Basically only happens when the car leans one way or the other when turning…like something is shifting. Sounds like maybe seat or door, maybe sunshade? Dunno! Driving me nuts.

i have the same noise i believe but it's mostly only there when my messaging seats are on. i can even feel the pop in the upper back area. I was thinking about removing the seat, unzipping it and looking into the issue myself. I don't like going to the dealerships if i can help it.

There is a Ford service bulletin concerning the drivers seat shifting and making popping noises. I can’t find it right now, but I had found it on this forum or a different one in the past. Basically the fix is a couple of rubber hose chunks attached to a metal bar under the seat and held on with hose clamps. It’s really an odd fix, but it took care of my seat issues and the dealership did the repair for free under warranty.

No, unfortunately it doesn’t make a difference if the sunshades are up or not. It seems to come from the area in/around where the sunshade is stored when it is rolled down.

It's a really odd fix for sure. I had the seat track replaced earlier this year and it once again started to happen (so they haven't redesigned the part to fix it) and had to have the TSB done again for it. Here is the info I was able to find with the TSB from the RO.

Rear Door Update:

The doors are still creaking and cracking, maybe a little less on the pass side where I did do 1 additional thing (which I posted earlier in this thread). When the weather gets better and it's not 100 degrees in my garage I'll see about pulling the doors apart again.

The dealer replaced the rear sunshade in mine (after first trying to 'fix' it) and that solved my issue with the noise from that door.

That's it, that's exactly what they did to mine.

Was the issue you were having popping and cracking noises around the sunshade area, especially when it's hotter out?

Most of my rattles went away when I deleted the underbody stuff..
Did you have any warranty issues after deleting the under body panels? Does it look better or worse now?

I'll put them back on for winter. I haven't had any warranty issues, but I don't see why there would be.

I’m thinking of taking mine off. Just worried about if it looks bad
