I have my AutoLamp display set for 10 seconds. However, when I shut the vehicle off and lock it, the headlights stay on for almost 5 minutes. Any setting I can go to?
HEADLAMP EXIT DELAY
After you switch the ignition off, you can
switch the headlamps on by pulling the
direction indicator lever toward you. You
will hear a short tone. The headlamps will
switch off automatically after three
minutes with any door open or 30 seconds
after the last door has been closed. You
can cancel this feature by pulling the
direction indicator lever toward you again
or switching the ignition on.

Yes. Shouldn't matter 2020 to 2022 settings should be the same for any Explorer with Auto headlights, which i think they all do. I think its called headlamp delay or headlight exit delay. I think the options are like: off, 1 min, 3 min, 5 min and 10 min. Im not in my car so i am trying to go from what i remember.
If the headlight switch is in the ON position, instead of AUTO, will the light turn off on their own eventually after locking and walking away? My Honda accord lights turn off no matter what headlight setting. My explorer light seem to stay on.
