Looks like to me it got more than the adv. power. Oh but wait, according to @twin001 it shouldn't be trusted because of the graphs LOL

Faster than a Durango SRT. This is how the ST should've come off the dealer new. Looks to be making close to the 5 star tuning power

I installed my FP Tune today and it went mostly smooth, thanks for the write up @deadhead20st !
I only drove it 3-4 miles so far and the throttle response seem snappier, I will drive it more this week and hopefully will it more during my commute.
I did run into one problem, after the test drive the service light came on and said 'Service 4wd'. Using the ProCal tool I was able to retrieve a P160A Configuration Error DTC if I remember correclty. Using the ProCal tool I was able to relearn the AWD module and problem solved!

Also the update to apply the parking brake automatically was included, I don't mind since I use it all the time anyway, just sharing.

Whoot! Whoot! I nailed the 1/2 sec FP tune improvement.

Who says modding/racing cars for 20+ years doesn't hone your racing knowledge.:geek:

... I want to see a 1/2 sec reduction in 0-60 times, which is totally within reach noting the 30+ hp and 52+ ft lb torque.
... the FP calibration shaved 1/2 second off 0-60 and 1/4 mile ...

Not to mention a sample size of ONE.
Maybe we should start a poll on it to make it 100% legit. If it shows on an internet forum poll it HAS TO BE FACT.

However, it is still an impressive number from only 32hp tune even if it's a single person posting it

Hey, if you are content in spending $1000 for 1/2 a second then by all means do it. Your money.

No one is buying this tune for erasing seconds from the stock times. No one. People are interested in this because it has the ability to make a fun car, more fun by a little more power, better transmission tweaks, etc. while maintaining some degree of warranty. I think we all know aftermarket is better and will yield much better numbers.

Which is better than a sample size of zero by about a million. hahaha

Hey, if you are content in trashing your warranty for the fastest tune around then please feel free to do so. Your warranty.

I am all about the tune and will be purchasing. Was just stating that Spins4 has been the only report before and after. Spins4 baseline stock pull is also .25 seconds faster than other members stock timed runs that I have seen. My dick will/is hard for an extra .5 second. I am not the anti-CareerFiremanGuy guy and have been on your side (explained in earlier posts) was just making an observation which is a statistical fact in this thread. You should know about numbers, especially when it comes to rear bolt fractures.

Does the FP tune show gear always (ie. not manual shift mode) like other tuners not named Livernois.

The Ford tune is a no-go for me...don't want to have the auto parking brake installed as part of the tune.

Doubtful but I have no experience.

No it does not show the current gear (unless in Manual mode.) I wish it did, though. [EDIT: I originally stated "unless in Sport mode," which is/was not accurate.]

No changes to the dash configuration or any other features. Strictly a performance bump.

Great to hear you're diving into the FP tune. Regarding Spins4 stock times being 1/4 sec faster than others, in truth, that isn't important. What's important is the difference between his base and tuned runs. And I know you haven't been maligning me as some of the other uninformed juveniles have been, that's why my previous response to you was a purely whimsical "Which is better than a sample size of zero by about a million. hahaha"

And yes, numbers are kind of a hobby of mine. Before I became a Career First Responder I was in auditing.:geek:

Anyways, good luck with your soon to be installed FP tune and keep us informed.

Who’s spending $1000?

I see a lot of folks spending $700+ on downpipes for 2 tenths, to each their own.

I highly encourage you to ignore the few uninformed know nothings that infect this forum, as it appears they might have negatively influenced you.

The FP tune offers an undisputed advantage over other tunes as it maintains your warranty. That alone is worth the price of admission.

My advice is you permanently block the whining brats as I have, and then look at the FP tune again with a fresh mind minus the convoluted influence of the malcontents.

Those "uninformed know nothings" include people like @TMac and @UNBROKEN whom have contributed more valid information to this forum than @CareerFiremanGuy will ever unless you want to know about bolts... I too am on his list because I gave him the same attitude that he gives others. Use your brain and remember, just because it says it comes with a warranty doesn't mean it will cover a failure.

Not to get in the middle of this spat, but be assured no one has influenced me negatively, or positively. I merely stated what I read on Facebook that the Ford Performance tune does add the automatic parking brake feature that was implemented in response to the differential bolt issue. If someone knows to the contrary I'd like to hear it, as I was considering the FP tune until I read this.
