I've been very happy with the auto start stop eliminator. I know it's only a button push, but it's a nice to have. The last two times I've had the oil changed by the dealer they went into the steering column and uninstalled the unit. They leave it in place, they just disconnect it. Has anyone else seen this? I'm taking it in tomorrow to have the cat leak recall looked at and am trying to decide if I need to disconnect it myself before taking it in. I've had a ZFG tune on it for about six months, nothing has been said about that. Just an odd situation.

I'd simply tell them, "do not touch this".

I guess me being me I would want a thorough explanation as to why it is being disconnected while just having an oil change.

Exactly…uh why are you taking my car apart when all I asked for was oil change.
