This has to be the most difficult part of the car to clean. Can’t wait to see how my ceramic coat installer handles it.

Took mine off and it looks so much better. Wasn't difficult at all.

I assume you just heated them up and slid some fishing line behind them? What did you use to get the glue residue off?

I know, but they least good. I just have to be careful and not rip the whole letter off when it snags on my towl.

If you're sold on keeping the letters, a blow dryer is the answer.

Heating up the letters and glue beneath them with a hair dryer for easier lifting them off the paint.

Keep the letters, we paid for them, ha. Use the 'Absorber' synthetic chamois to get most of the water off and finish up with a thick microfiber towel.

I couldn’t stand the raised letters on our Vette. If you look real close you’ll see I found a great place for them. Lol 85838B58-B098-4CC2-86C7-05CB95E9CA7C.jpeg

Agree with the above (hair and blow) dryer approaches. Or just dab, don't wipe, with your microfiber towel when drying.

Or make a hat holder with some uber cool auto lettering! :)
