I live in NYC and luckily found a good body shop nearby (Prestige Auto Body in Fort Lee, NJ) that’s done some good work on other STs in the area. They painted all of the black body molding, got rid of the amber and chrome in the headlights, tinted the front windows to match the rear, tinted the taillights etc. Here is a before and after.

Going on road trip down to Florida in a couple weeks and will be stopping by Steeda in GA for my first round of performance modifications:
- Whipple Intercooler
- Ford Performance Tune (I know l, I know, it’s weak, but that’s what I’m going to run for the first three years then will likely switch to ZFG)
- Corsa exhaust
- Steeda lowering springs, strut tower brace, rear sway bar
- AFE CAI
- 22x10.5” BC forged wheels wrapped in 295/40ZR-22 MICHELIN PILOT SPORT ALL SEASON tires

I’ll do a before and after dragy run in the same place to see what kind of 0-60 improvement I can get from those mods…I’m guessing I’ll be in the high 4s.

These wheels are going to make a big difference in the appearance. Thank you to @UNBROKEN for the recommendation.

Did they open up your headlights and paint or tint to get rid of the chrome and amber?
Why did you decide on 295/40 vs. 305/35 on the rubber?

Agree with you on the FPR tune. Those rims are going to look sick! What are they?

It’s nice to see people able to buy a car and mod the hell out of it right away now. It sucked in the beginning when there weren’t any parts out yet. lol

They opened them up and painted the chrome and amber. I think it looks best like that. On the rubber, I wanted a thicker sidewall for some more cushion.

Thank you! I think they will too. They are BC Forged 22x10.5 with +30 offset EH176 brushed clear finish medium concave.

Just ordered these from Emblem City. Will look a lot better than the stock emblems.

I’m at 1,300 miles and just did my first three 0-60mph runs to get a baseline before my performance mods are completed tomorrow. This was the best of the three. It is completely stock running 93 octane. The engine was very warm because I’ve been driving for 7 hours today. Not ideal I know. I’ll do another Dragy after she’s hot again for an apples to apples comp with just the mods I’m getting now.

Nice! Would like to see how it performs when engine isn't that hot.

Agree. I assume it would be pretty close to standard 5.2 seconds for an all stock ST.

The guys at Steeda put on their lowering springs, my new 22x10.5” BC Forged wheels and Emblem City emblems. She’s looking much better…and sounding A LOT better w the Corsa exhaust system. Excited to finish up the performance mods tomorrow.
