Looks very nice - should provide a little more shade for the driver too! How much? (...didn't read...a little too much ABV) Any noise at all?
There does seem to be added wind noise but then again, it's hard to do a comparison from memory when I just wasnt' paying much attention to it before. BTW, the same maker has their label AVS version for $65. Personally, I like the ford version because it has no labelling.

Ford window deflectors. ~$85. Nice now that warm weather is here. Allows you to crack the window open 2-3" in the rain. I think it looks good on an ST.
The one on the Ford website does not look as good as the one you have on your explorer. Do you have a link to the $85 Ford version that looks like yours?

It's the same item - just a stock picture on the Ford Accessories site.

The new design is mediocre - they leave a large gap over the side mirror trim so as soon as you lower the window even just a bit there is a large hole there that lets in lots of air (or water). Pulled mine off after two days, especially since they cracked, and got a new set under warranty that I re-mounted in a way to close that gap. Too bad they look a bit goofy. Once an in-channel version comes out (if that even happens), I'll pull these off without hesitation.

Thank you so much for the notice! I'll wait for the one that WeatherTech releases that goes into the window frame. That covers all the bases. Just have to wait until they get around to them making it.

Confirmed that you have the correct one:
VLB5Z-18246-A Side Window Deflector - Smoke $87.75
Ordered from Levittown Ford with free shipping code.

Although there is a gap as JR GOFFIN mentions, I've not had any problems with it with wind or rain, street or highway. The dark color looks like a glossy black. It matches the black glossy trim of the ST very well.

Anyway you can share the Code? or was it a one time use? Thanks!

Am I crazy or is 270 bucks a lot of money for 2 plastic emblems. You can buy 4 springs from Steeda for the same amount. Just saying

I’m with you, I have a friend that paints firearms that said he could do them for a much more reasonable price.

I’m just trying to find the OEM parts for him to paint so I can go back to stock if necessary.

Everyone thinks they can do a quality job for cheaper...until they try. And you can’t use an OEM front emblem for these...they don’t come apart to paint.

For the price he’s quoted I’ll give it a go and if it turns out crap I’m not really out of pocket.

If it works out, I’ll share and link you guys.

My thinking is there’s a lot more to go wrong on a firearm than an emblem

Completely different prep work and coatings to start with. Emblems are done with automotive paint. Prepping the chrome is key so it doesn’t chip. That’s after you disassemble the emblems and again, the ST front emblem can’t be disassembled. They’re using emblems from another model.

Have them on mine also since March. Easy install.

Here are some shots of 2nd row.
What are those covers on the back of your front/passenger seats (save from your kid kicking the seats)?

Vehicle specific locking safe and used my Ford Pass points. There are cutouts so the inside light still illuminates. It took less than five minutes to install.

How does that secure in the console? Will it be able to resist someone trying to open it? Those bolts look a bit like knuckle busters.
