Anyone had issues with the car thinking you're about to reverse into something because of a bike & rack mounted on the tow hitch?

I turned ours off when we out the bike rack on, because I threw out my neck a couple times because the car threw on its brakes.

The brake assist is ridiculously strong on this car, I hate it. I have a Thule 2 bike hitch mount and I just park far away from anything like I normally do. Old pic before all the mods. 20210911_154709.jpg

Anyone here has any recommendation for a hitch mounted bike rack for ST. (My previous one was roof mounted)

Requirements
1. For two bikes (three won't hurt either)
2. One 29 inch mountain bike and one kids bike
3. Might be one electric bike in the future
4. Need tailgate access with the bikes mounted
5. Something that don't hinder the safety features on ST. (Rear camera, parking sensors, etc.)
6. Can't go crazy on the cost, but ready to invest in a quality product.

No towing requirement, so I might just leave it on the car all the time.

My Kuat Transfer 2 meets all those requirements.

I have the Kuat Beta. Small and lightweight, but very sturdy.

Like others mentioned, I also turn off the rear parking sensors when using the rack.

I was in hunt for a bike rack for the past few weeks. (waiting for some deal on amazon or to get a used one in good condition)
Finally went ahead with Kuat transfer, for three bikes.
Amazon order should be here by next week.

PS: Hope it wont break my neck, playing with the brake assist.

Kuat transfer V2, 2 inch hitch, 3 bike rack.

1. I went with three (as I got a great deal on it)
2. Everything from 18 to 29 fits
3. 40 lb per bike in the three bike configuration, but very sure two 60lbs won't be a problem.
4. Tilting with three bike mounted can be tricky, as the access lever is close to the hitch and at over 50 lb, the rack itself is heavy. With my wide handle bar 29" bike, STs liftgate, just brushes/touches it, while opening and closing.
5. Rear camera works better due to fork type main stem design. Parking sensors need to be turned off everytime, else the rear brake assist will break you neck.
6. Rock solid bike rack and I got a sweet deal from Amazon.

Big thanks to @UNBROKEN for the suggestion.
