Make sure you text drive very thorough before signing any paperwork. I’ve got a 2023 explorer st fully loaded, disappointed with a few things for sure

If you get the upgraded speakers, about 25-35% of all music and podcasts have an almost blown speaker sound in them, even at minimal volume, Ford tech said they heard nothing. Tailgate has gotten stuck open twice now, left the car off for multiple durations, tried using the key and the button inside, and the button on the tailgate, even disconnected the battery for 10 minutes, nothing works, it eventually just decides to close again. Front windows not only have a delay from hitting the button to go down or up, but are also on a slower motor than the rear windows. Theirs a minor knocking coming from the front of the car when going over any uneven road or bumps which of coarse ford says theirs nothing wrong. If you get the larger screen, it is extremely poorly utilized, when using the back up cam, it defaults to a overhead view right next to the camera view making both extremely small and only using the top portion of the screen to cram both views on there, unless you click an alternate view button every time you reverse, leaving the bottom half or more of the screen blank and black. Honestly extremely disappointed with the quality of this vehicle. And yes, I got it brand new

Sounds like a solid case of “your fault”

Your first and only post is to bitch about things which you should have discovered when you did your due diligence before purchasing? You never test drove the vehicle or made sure it met your standards? I assume the dealer put a gun to your head to buy it?

Hit the pedal and you will forget about all those minor annoyances. Be sure to check the air pressure in your tires, many new vehicles come from the factory with overinflated tires, which can bring out sounds in the suspension when hitting bumps and such.

Mine, too. Never enforced, though. I see cops driving while fiddling with the laptop, so definitely not taken seriously. Har.

It's a Ford that looks good and drives fast. Lease it for no more than the warranty time frame (36 months). If you want a quality car, buy Japanese!

My lease will be up in a few months so I was pleasantly surprised to discover that my lease agreement's residual value vs. fair market valuation is remarkably in my favor. I’ll probably buy it at lease end.
