I stand on a 20" platform and use a high quality Montana Boars Hair Brush or microfiber mop with an extendable 6 foot pole to wash. If the car is just kind of dusty when I wash, I'll use the microfiber mop. If it's actually dirty I use the boars hair brush. There is a technique when using a boars hair brush so as to not damage the finish. If you go that route, read up on it.
I use an EGO 765 Blower with a shorty nozzle and protective rubber tip. The EGO is plenty powerful, I believe this is as good as it gets for a blower combination for auto detailing.
I'd recommend this blower for grills and mirrors, not to mention around the yard usage. The shorty nozzle lets you get up close and personal without worrying about slipping with a hard plastic snout. It's top notch.
