I got it, I couldn't tell the difference in driving. Its probably the worst $ ive spent on a car.

Sorry to hear that. I was going to install it just for the supposedly improved transmission shifting, was that any better? I don't really care about improved speed performance, still running on regular gas and i'm ok with it.

I find it hard to believe that even the least inclined "car guy" around couldn't feel, at a minimum a 30 HP kick in the pants.

I was talking to some Engineers at Police Fleet Expo, one of them used to work Ford Performance he said I should be going in and checking to see if FP has updated the tune version I have.

I wanted to know if anyone here who installed the tune at the beginning of the release has gone in since tuning and pulled down a new version of their tune?

Apparently its refined all the time.

I’m curious as well. I do know they added the feature where the car will remember if you turned auto start stop off or on.

I haven’t plugged my tuner in to see if there is an update though. Mainly because not sure I want to pay another $150 to have it installed. Although I haven’t contacted the guy who did mine. Maybe he’d cut me a deal.

If you can't feel the 1/2 sec improvement in acceleration that I documented (Dragy in warm/humid weather no less) then you need to reassess your skills.

Don't buy into that post. The second I drove away from the dealer after I had the FP tune installed I noticed an immediate difference.

Pulls harder, boost peaks at 21 psi (vs 18 stock), and the trans shifts a ton smoother. While not your 500 hp tune, it's also not your warranty voiding tune.

I never would've guessed that once the FP tune was issued that it would be updated.

Wouldn't there have to be a complete recert with CARB every time they updated it?

Old thread I know, but it seems this tune is good to go for the 2023 STs now in Cali. It appears to be 50 state street legal!! This looks like good news...

Yup the 20,21 and 22s have been fine for a while. The 23s were just included recently
