I had my brake fluid changed and notice the dealer left out this yellow 'cup' that is supposed to be in the reservoir. I bought a new one and replaced it, but does anyone know what this 'cup' is for? Cost me $60 to replace it as I had to buy the whole reservoir, but that is cheaper (to me) than the time and hassle of going back to the dealer and 'dealing' with them. Grrrr..... Thanks for the support!

Just a screen to catch trash. Put it back in and forget about it.
