Looking to have racing stripes like these put on my ST. Anyone know how much a ballpark cost might be? I was going to go with vinyl.

I actually just got the quote yesterday! It will cost $1,200 to have it done. I think that is pretty reasonable.

Rich’s car is a master class on proper racing stripes. He did it perfectly.

Is that the original photo on this thread? Got a link to more photos? It looks more like paint than vinyl!

I pulled those photos from the internet because it’s exactly what I wanted and needed something to show him. I’m definitely moving forward with this.

Do you have the sun roof? I don’t have one. Apart from being the only one in my area willing to do it, he said doing the roof with all the ridges takes a lot of time to get it perfect. I’m thinking of getting another quote but the shop is about 45 minutes to an hour away! I thought $1,200 was a bit pricey. I think I will check with a body shop to see how much it would be to paint. It may cost more but it’s permanent.

Finished them up today! Very happy with them! I just wish we didn’t have to have front plates here in MA.

Hey Broose, you never said what tire size you went with on the 20" wheel. I wanted to see what a little bit wider looks like.

I just went with stock tire size for now. I plan to get rims in the future and will get wider tires then.

Hey Tim! Do you have any pics you can post. I'm looking into stripes and have the same thoughts doing the big stripes as black and the smaller outside stripes as red.
Thanks!
