Friends,

I've been spending a lot of time in my 22' engine bay and I've noticed I'm missing two small plastic covers (one on each side).

Hoping that next time someone is tinkering they could shoot me a message with the part # (if there is one on it!). Local dealership is a mess to the point I would rather source myself. Spent a good amount of time on Fordparts and figured I'd pause to ask here before I threw my laptop out the window.

Appreciate any insight! explorerStcovers.jpg

Unless these were included on the 2020's, I've never seen them. I think the Aviator may have had some extra shrouding under the hood. Don't hold me to that, maybe the Platinum's may have came with them.

My 23 does not have any covers in that spot. Got it last month.

HA! Not the covers I had in mind. Learned something new. Now I gotta go out and look.

I think it was what Ignatius was looking for.
It’s strange. On mine, those covers are held down with those terrible two-piece pins that look like they should unscrew but won’t.

Seems like the 2020 models came with everything, and from then on, They have slowly been deleting items, both interior and exterior

Wow. I wonder how much else was removed thatwe don't even know about.

I noticed that sometime MY2022 that the firewall insulation is gone. Gotta believe that's going to make it noisier in the cabin.

Another little tidbit… 2020 explore ST were originally named Lucid Red Pearl ..
and in 2021 they change Lucid Red Pearl to rapid Red Pearl Which is D4/744 OEM try stage basecoat.

Looks like the harnesses are routed differently on the 2020 ST, I have a large harness routed over the passenger side strut mount.

Do you have a picture of it?
