FenFab vs AFe cold air intake

Anyone have any opinions on the FenFab vs AFe cold air intake? Still undecided … any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Just received my FenFab yesterday, wow, very high quality! AFe is still in production so no real world reviews yet. I haven't heard a single issue on the FenFab yet.

FenFab customer here (Gen 1 Intake). While Brett's instructions leave a fair amount to be desired, the quality of the product is top notch and his customer service is also fantastic. If you are mechanically inclined you will eventually figure it out but the instructions are for sure confusing at first. And it makes glorious whoooshing noises. I think the AFE box is going to be ALOT quieter than the FenFab setup. I would look into a cold-side charge pipe too. No reason to get all this extra flow going to the intercooler just to have that dinky crimped pipe throttle it. ;-)

Old thread here that really never made it to a comparison between the two. Any pros and cons out there, the jury still out....

FenFab makes engine noises. AFe doesn’t. Pick the one you like to look at because they’re both the same in performance. S&B is the new kid on the block. Looks a lot better than the AFe.
