Service manager emailed me to say Ford is now aware the vehicle only has 7 key cycles since the last reset. He said he wants to fix it for me but if Ford denies the warranty, I’ll have to pay for the repair! The thing is, I’ve only driven the vehicle a handful of times since getting it back because they told me the rear differential needed to be repaired and because the transmission was slipping! I haven’t had the tune in it for the same reasons. I’m not sure if he’s trying to scare me or what but I’m going in there today. I may just have it towed to another dealer. These guys are just ridiculous!
